Tehran (IP)- The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari today in her presser said, so far, 215,096 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 175,103 of total infected people have recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari on Thursday 25 June reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by it.

She said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 25 in the country, 2,595 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 215,096."1,305 of the new patients were hospitalized.

Fortunately, 175,103 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.

The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 134 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 10, 130 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

The official stated, "2,899 patients are in intensive care units."

So far, around 1,530,437 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.

According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, and Kermanshah have been recognized with the most number of hospitalized patients.
